And we have a setback. St. Mary's is on hold while she recovers from rhinovirus/enterovirus. Poor baby is so miserable. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks of us being here.

Oh no! I know rhinovirus is the cold virus but what is enterovirus? Is that a stomach bug?
Sorry she is feeling sick! Hopefully these will pass quickly!

This just sucks so much. Lila is my last baby and it makes me sad that instead of starting solids and seeing her sit up for the first time, we're stuck in this hospital. I hate wasting her infancy this way.
I wish they never intubated her and were more patient with getting her oxygen levels up by other means. We probably would have been home a long time ago.

ugh, that broke my heart for you! Im so sorry. You can't do what ifs though, you're not a Dr, this would be uncharted territory for any of us. You can what if they little things, and I get it, you have to be EXHAUSTED and just want your normal life back with Lila home doing baby things BUT even if you continue to question the decisions you made along the way, know that the most important decision of all, the one that counted most, the one where you listened to your Mommy instincts, the one that saved your baby girl gave you the chance to be able to even question future decisions. You can't be so hard on yourself, yes, maybe there are thing you'd do differently in hindsight but that one single decision in the single second you made it saved your baby. I think youre a pretty awesome mom, who made a pretty awesome decision when it mattered most. Hang in there, Im sorry.

I feel so bad for you. You must be spent. She'll be better within a couple of days and back on the road to recovery. Hang in there. Also, know that they wouldn't have intubated her unless they felt it was necessary. I have seen consequences of failing to timely intubate and it's not pretty. Don't question the decision. It was best for her at the time.

DH just tested positive for flu and rsv and was told to not go anywhere near work or the kids for at least the rest of the week.
I mean really. How much more can we take?
