Definitly the long ones, it makes the ceiling seem higher.
Aslo where did you find those flower sconces? I love them.
Kohls!! I got them this past Christmas. I can't find any flowers that I love to put in them, so I put in flowers of weddings that I've been in...
Believe it or not Pier 1 has the best looking fake flowers. If you play around with them and cut the stems I think they will look great.

long ones. the short ones are used more for bedrooms and more casual rooms. the long ones also make the window look larger then they are. but it does block the ac, so maybe consider a nice set of tie backs for the summer months.

without a doubt, the long ones.
are the shades staying? i would either not use or if you want blinds/shades, opt for something more light (bamboo or woven).

Those shades are temporary. We're replacing the windows with a bay window one day.

definitely long ones!! you can also get tiebacks or if you can get those holders that match your rod, to pull them to the side when you want it open.
