please post your daily schedule for 2 month old
Can you please post your daily schedule for your DC. I am having a hard time getting my 2 month old DD on a daily feeding schedule and even harder time on a sleep schedule. Any words of advice?

my only advice is to let your DD make her own schedule at this point. Abby did it on her own. she was like clock work about a week or so after the 2 month mark. and still to this day is at just a few days shy of 4 months. Its really hard because theres no order but i swear she will eventually do it on her own!

ITA. You can try to keep a routine, but your DD is a little young to be on a set schedule. You can start writing down when she eats and sleeps and see if you notice a pattern. That may help you get into a routine and eventually a schedule.

Re: please post your daily schedule for 2 month old
My advice is to stop trying to get a 2 month old on any sort of schedule. She's still too little and changing so much that each day can be so different. Follow her lead right now and let her sleep when she wants to sleep and eat when she needs to eat and worry about a routine and schedule when she's older. Trying to force her into anything now is only going to frustrate you and probably her too!!

At around 6 weeks my DD put herself on an "eat, play, sleep" routine. It wasn't a schedule persay because the cycle would be anywhere from 3-4 hours. It was nice having some routine but really she kind of did it herself.

Same..thing only thing we did do what every evening, 6:30 a bottle if she was hungry, if not fine, then bath (every other night), book, music and in the crib she goes...I think that did help w/her day and night schedule
but otherwise it was up, eat, play (total = 1hr-1.5hrs) then down for a nap again.....repeat all day

Re: please post your daily schedule for 2 month old
My DS is 7 1/2 weeks. At this point, you cant get them on a schedule of any kind.
Sometimes he eats every 2 hours during the day, if I am lucky enough he naps it may be every 3 or 4 hours. Sometimes he'll drink 4 oz. and want more, other times he falls asleep after 2 oz. and I can't get him to drink anymore.
My DS LOVES to be held but is not a habit I am looking to start or can really even do considering I also have a 2 1/2 yr. old. DS will sleep a long time if I am holding him, but if I put him down he wakes up soon after. He is a cat napper although I have been able to get him to sleep in the swing for an hour or so lately.
He has been getting better at night. For the first 5 weeks he ate every 2 hours around the clock, now at night we feed him at 11:30 and he wakes up around 2:30 for another bottle and than 6.
ETA: Not sure if you take your DC out, but mine loves the car. I have been taking him out to the stores and he usuall sleeps the whole time. I also rotate him during the day between the play mat, bouncy seat, swing, laying in the pack n'play. At this age it's hard...just have to keep rotating them and follow their lead.

My DD had no schedule at all until about 2 or 3 weeks ago when she was 3.5 months. It kind of made itself and now I am able to go with it and try to refine it as I need to.

Re: please post your daily schedule for 2 month old
Here's what happens on a GOOD day for us. DD is 9.5 weeks old.
Wake up at 5:30, bottle at 5:45. Nap from 7 until anywhere from 8:30 to 10. She's still asleep now, but that's because I swaddled her this morning.
Somewhere between 9:15 & 10 (usually), she gets another bottle, then we play, then after she's been up for an hour or hour and a half, I try to get her to nap again.
It's more of an "eat, play, nap" cycle than schedule at this point. I have noticed the following, though.
She started eating a lot more around 6 or 7 weeks. Once she got up to 36 oz. a day (!), she was able to go longer at night. She started STTN at just over 8 weeks. But now she eats more often during the day.
A bath at night relaxes her. We give her a bath at 6:30 or 7, I rub Aveeno Vanilla Lavender baby lotion on her, swaddle her, give her the binky, "sshh" her, and she goes to sleep. We do a dream feed around 10 p.m. or so.
