I can't stop thinking about them as well. Her mom has been updating on Twitter and it's heartbreaking...I can't even FATHOM watching DD go through that and for them to just be waiting for the inevitable to happen...she just wrote that her other two daughters were going to say their goodbyes before going to their grandma's for the next few days. How? How does anyone get through something like this????
wow those poor little girls  its so sad that she slept all day but to throw up  ever since i read this today i cant look at my DD witout getting teary. she is the same age as layla.....i am praying for a miracle!!  either way i hope this little girl doesnt suffer anymore

I borderline wish I didnt read that link my heart is aching for that mother. To know that your child is dying and not to be able to do anything to stop it. I cannot even fathom it

I agree. I haven't cried this hard in a long time.
It's so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day "stuff" that comes with raising a child. I have been frustrated these past 3 days because my 14 month-old DD has suddenly decided that she no longer needs to nap. I'm exhausted and sometimes I just WILL her to go to sleep--but I can't even imagine the thought of closing my eyes at night and not knowing if I'd have tomorrow with her.
I want to know why God puts families and helpless children through stuff like this.

i was thinking the same thing....that poor lil girl celebrating her 2nd bday in a hospital bed...i feel bad thinking about the big party DD just had and while giving her her milk tonight...with the lights off i was thinking of that family and how layla likes to be rocked in the dark. why do things like this to such a helpless little child!! i will never understand

Being preggo, I don't think I can bear to read through the whole thing....but I did post the note about how they'll donate a dollar for every suggested friend on fb so I suggested it to my entire friend list....over 500 people. I hope they really do add a dollar for each

Do you think she knows whats happening, how do you begin to explain that to your child? That kept me up ALL night.
My personal belief is that there are angels around them that do talk to them and comfort them and that they know its going to be ok. I've watched kids die, more times than I'd like to think and they are always so peaceful, there isnt fear. I think fear of death isn't really learned until older.........
I don't know why but I've been a basket case since hearing about this, THIS little girl has really touched my heart in a very deep way. I prayed all night for her that she may find peace soon!

I just read this whole site now...I was avoiding it because I just couldn't deal.....and I can't deal now, but I'm just reading it. This poor little girl and her family are living it and I just can't imagine. The mom's twitter updates that are linked about her smiling she thinks at her angels. No one should have to go through this, it makes me angry and so heartbroken, its stories like these that I have a lot of trouble making heads and tails of the world.
God bless her and her family and I hope she finds comfort and peace in her final hours and that she can run and play w/o pain soon.

this is what got me last night..........I mean literally I was sitting in my den bawling, BAWLING. With that I had to get up to dream feed my little guy, I literally sat there for another 20 minutes after he was done just staring at him.

I sent the facebook link to everyone I could. I told them no need to read just become a fan becuase it will make them cry. I hope for a miracle. If not I hope she passes with Godspeed. She doesnt deserve to suffer.
