Please reassure me or tell me I'm crazy for going.......
So, I will be 30 this year as will my cousin who is also my bestfriend. I am from Louisville, KY and she has tickets to sit on Millionaire row for the KY Derby. THat is how we are going to celebrate our 30th birthday together. BUT that means that I will have to leave my DS for 4 days with my inlaws while I am in KY. IS this going to TOTALLY screw up his routine since I am the only one that has EVER put him to bed? Will he be miserable that whole weekend I'm away for my in-laws? OR should I just cancel the trip and stay home? Any advice? DS will be exactly 2 years old when I go. I'm stressing myself out over this.

Why dont you do a trial with your inlaws one night? This way you can see how it goes and then decide!

i agree give it a trial run overnight..we went away without dd and she was 22 mths old - i dont think she missed us lol she was too busy gettign spoiled by my parents, so i say go enjoy yourself.
