Please reassure me that some spotting is normal. TMI.
I am 6 weeks tomorrow with twins. Yesterday after going to the bathroom (#2, sorry TMI) when I wiped I had some pink discharge. Like just the initial wipe came up pink and then after that was brown spotting on and off for the rest of the day. Nothing today.
I emailed my doctor who said spotting is normally fine and to call if it gets worse or if I have pain. I am having my usual on and off mild cramping. I go in on Wednesday for another sonogram.
I am trying not to be worried but of course it's hard. I'm worried that the spotting means that a m/c might be coming

Many, MANY women experience spotting with completely normal pregnancies. Unless you're bleeding heavily, red, with clots and such, I wouldn't worry.
I spotted light pink/brown for 2-3 days after I got my BFP, and then again I intermittently spotted light pink/brown from weeks 16-22. The baby is still kicking

i spotted three times in my first trimester!!!!! it's totally normal and does NOT guarantee that anything is wrong....
this may be a TMI - if you were going number 2 - you could've 'exerted' muscles down there....and that's what happened (it happened to me once).

I gushed bright red blood with clots and I am now 22weeks!
If you are on progesterone supps, they can irritate the cervix and cause spotting

Re: Please reassure me that some spotting is normal. TMI.
With my daughter I cramped something aweful and then bled bright red blood for a day and then contined to spot until 20 weeks. My baby girl is 20 months.
I also miscarried twice and the first time I spotted the second time nothing. I do not think spotting is the best indicator.
I hope it all works out.

I spotted at 6 weeks also. It was also a pinkish brown. Dr. said it was OK, but I still freaked.... I am 7 months today!

Its normal. I had some pink with Paige. It scared me to death but when I went to the dr. he said all was fine.
Just make sure you call if things get worse.
