I've been seeing Dr. Rory Breidbart in Great Neck for a few months now. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. The phone # to his office is 516-482-0347.
HTH!

Dr karen schwartz in Woodbury. She is pretty good and she has hashimotos disease like me too! So I like how she understands on a personal level.

I just started seeing Dr. Rachelle Bitton. She is part of the ProHealth group of doctors which is where all my doctors now are. I totally loved her but it took months to get a first appointment. Here's her info:
Dr. Rachelle Bitton 2 ProHealth Plaza Lake Success, NY 11042

Before I got pregnant I use to see Dr. Herson but it sounds like you had a bad experience with him...just curious how can he say you have no issues if your thyroid levels are low? the results are based on blood levels.

I think he looked at me and said aaah shes fat and has anxiety that's all it is.. lol he basically said when I showed him previous blood work that was out of range and he tested..that when the current tests were normal that there was no need for any treatment and it must have been a glitch in the past. eh he didn't want to listen I suppose to the patient and not just the current lab tests. I know I hear good things about him. he at least when I saw him would only treat tsh over 10 as well...is that your experience with him? ty

I have hashimoto's thyroiditis so it is a bit more straight forward- my labs will occasionally show I need to have my synthroid increased but for the most part I am an easy case. Overall, I had a good experience with him- I actually started seeing him bc my former doctor retired and my sister highly recommend him. Sorry you had a bad experience with him. Hope you find someone good- maybe ask your OB for a recommendation since you have a history of PCOS.
