Please recommend 6 month old appropriate toys
I'm starting to think about Xmas presents for DD and I don't know why, but I'm blanking on age appropriate toys for her. Does anyone have any suggestions? What did/does you little one like around 6 months old?

boxes? shoes? pots & pans?
If you're looking to buy something, stacking cups, blocks are always good & will last a little longer.
Blocks can be used later to build things when they're older.
Stacking cups were handy in the bathtub.

Fisher Price stuff always seemed to be the best...and the basic toys they carry:

Music toys were a hit for DD last Christmas...she got a little piano, xylophone, tambourines, shakers, a drum, etc.
Stacking toys...little pots & pans (they make music too  )

My kids loved the cups to stack. Music toys-push a button play music type things. Their zylophone, their fisher price phone. Anything that makes noise. They also LOVED this butterfly toy I have on wheels that is supposed to help them crawl.

These were my DS's favorite toys at that age and he will still play with them from time to time.
