Please recommend a good LI restaurant.
I'm sure this has been posted a million times, but I can't seem to find recent posts.
I want to take DH to a nice restaurant for his b-day. We go out for a nice dinner like once a year. Otherwise, it's wendys, chilis and the occasional Cheesecake factory. (if we are lucky)
Something along the lines of Rothmann's (where we ALWAYS end up and is getting played out). Doesn't have to be steak. Just somewhere nice. And doesnt have be cheap, per say, but must be worth the expense.
ETS LI, not I

For special occasions, DH and I like to go to Tellers, Cara mia Duo (or something like that in Seaford), Pace's and Sempre Vivolo in Hauppauge.

We live right near Hudson Mill and went there for our first Anniversary. Gool Place. We havent been to Vittorios but pass it all the time. Each time we do, we say "we gotta try that place" lol

Re: Please recommend a good LI restaurant.
Polo at garden city hotel is very nice and very upscale. the food was really good when i went.
But I like their Rein bar and cafe even better. the room is really neat and the food is very good. Its not as expensive and not as fancy. I think men need a jacket for the polo restaurant, and wouldnt need one for the bar/cafe.
I also would reccommend Prime in Huntington. Very good!

I agree, I've been there twice since it opened and it was wonderful both times.
