Please recommend a primary physican in Nassau County
I am really in need of a general dr in Nassau County. You know for colds, physicals, aches and pains, etc, who you can get seen quickly for more urgent things like strep throat, etc.
Could be a man or woman. FM if you prefer.

I see Dr. Alfieri. They are a husband and wife and have apractice out of their house in Mineola. I love them. They have even taken me at 8 pm on a sunday!!!!! FM me if u want info!

East Meadow Family Practice in North Bellmore. Dr. Sisselman, Greco and Moynihan. They also have two PA's who are sooo nice and really good. I actually like to get the PA's more because they are so thourough and spend more time with you. I really like this practice and they always squeeze me in. They also have a cardiology place come in each week so you can have heart tests done in that office. The only thing is they do make you wait for a long time in the waiting room. Always.

Me and DH both see the same doctor. It's the same doctor my mom sees too, we really like him. He's affiliated with St. Francis, our hospital of choice (because my mom works there too!).

Dr. Marc Meltzer (MD) - he is in Roslyn right off the LIE on Glen Cove Rd.
He went to NYU, is board certified, and is affiliated with NSUH Manhasset. I usually only see him - but he does have a partner so if you are sick and he isn't in there is someone else you can see - They do have sat hours - and I can always get into him when he is sick. I had several dr's recommend him to me when I needed a new PCP.

It's an excellent practice and they will take you right away and will always squeeze you in (and you NEVER have to wait!)

My family and I have been going to Dr. ROnald Kastner in Plainview for over 12 yrs. I love the entire practice but he is the Dr. I primarily see. He takes all the time you need and is soo thorough. One time I had this odd rash (which looking back they think I had west nile). He called one of the top dermatologist and got him to stop his tennis match and come and meet me at his office.
He really is a great Dr. Island Medical Group is the name of the practice.
