please recommend your bottle

Can you PLEASE recommend a bottle that does not leak and does not have 10 million parts to it?

We have been using medela bottles. Now they are too small and all the 8 oz bottles that we have purchased are just not wokring out.

ETA- Sometimes leaking issues can be because they are overtightened, maybe loosen the top just a little ?

Re: please recommend your bottle

Kristina hated the drop ins.

She uses and loves a few:

Born Free's (parts)
Dr. Brown's (parts)
Evenflo glass & plastic
Gerber Clearviews
*I think I have another, but can't remember right now*

If you are looking for a bottle that doesn't leak but no parts... the evenflo's and the gerber's have been great. She hasn't had issues with them, and they don't leak at all. The only time that I had issue with either of the bottles leaking is when I overtighten.

I am beyond happy with the Dr. Browns'...and its not a big deal at all that you have to place two pieces in them...I never understood why people complained about them having a million parts, but that's JMO

Re: please recommend your bottle

Stick with something that has nipples similar to the ones on the Medela's you have been using. FYI, with Dr. Browns we found that the only way to make them leak proof was to use the travel caps, not just the caps that pop on over the nipples.

I think the complaining (which I totally understand) comes from when you handwash them, and you scrub them out (if you can call it that)Chat Icon with the pipe cleaner!

I think that's where the problem lies.

Re: please recommend your bottle

We started with Born Free but switched to playtex drop ins. DS is a messy eater - the bottles didn't leak, but he would dribble formula all over himself. he was better with the drop ins and I have had few issues with gas. Cleaning is a breeze, since you toss the liner.
