Please recommend your cold weather gear
This will be he first winter that I will be running outdoors. Please recommend your gloves, hats, headband, earmuffs, or coat etc. Thanks!

Re: Please recommend your cold weather gear
For medium cold wear, I actually have Old Navy compression pants and tops, they are cheap and great! I'll probably wear these through November and maybe into December.
For very cold running weather, I have CW-X tights for my legs, they are great but very pricey. I also ordered a bunch of tops for cold weather from Running Warehouse from labels like Brooks and Nike.
Last year I invested in a hat and gloves from Underarmor and use those to run.
I actually don't wear any type of coat when running, I layer up and make sure I can strip my layers on top so that I can wrap around my waist when I start getting hot.

Re: Please recommend your cold weather gear
I layer.
I have a bunch of cold weather tights... cw-x, under armour, new balance... and if it is REALLY cold (like one of the winter series races was -6 with the windchill) I will wea another pair of pants over the tights.
Then I wear a sports bra, tank top, underarmour or similar long sleeve shirt, and then a "jacket" which varies depending on the temp. I have light windbreaker ones up to heavier fleece lined one (new balance) and a bunch of nike, nb, and adidas zip up ones.
for gloves I wear the isotoner smart touch gloves (you can use ipod and touch screens with them).
for ear, a standard headband/earmuff like this
Check out Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I just bought a ton of stuff there for winter much cheaper than Sports Authority or other sporting goods store. Same exact stuff too... same nike tights I saw for $50 in SA were $19.99 in Marshalls.
