Oh god I wish I could remember exactly what name of mattress it is. I got it from BRU.

Got ours from Buy Buy Baby based on reccommendation, baby bargains book, and consumer reports..we went with the Colgate foam moderate priced one.

Hollie - when I got my crib At behrs the mattress came with it. It is a good mattress with some type of consumer rating. You may want to call them. Where are you getting your furniture from?

This is what we got too - I believe it was under $150. No one bought it off my registry though - I guess no one wanted to be the mattress giver

We bought our furniture from Behr's and they gave us half price on their foam mattress. We love it. It's so much lighter and easier to change the crib sheet.

I didn't pick mine out until we decided on the crib. Even though cribs and mattresses are "standard" sizes, they *do* vary. I found the exact measurements of the crib at BRU, then went over to the mattress section, and found the firmest one with the best fitting numbers. There is an inch or more difference between some mattresses, and that could leave a gap between the mattress and crib, which isn't good.
