Recommend your drop-side crib
After much debate, I think I'm going to have to go with a drop-side crib because of my height even though I like the look of the non drop-side ones better. Can anyone show me the drop-side crib that they bought and tell me the brand? TIA!

Re: Recommend your drop-side crib
I made the same decision because I'm not very tall either. Plus, if I'm pregnant again after a year or so after having DC, I can't imagine being able to reach over the side of the crib.
I got mine at Bellini. Here's the pic:
All cribs at Bellini have drop-sides, so there are different styles to choose from.
ETA: I got it in the darker mahogany finish, not the one shown in the pic.

Unfortunately, I love the look of the Bellini cribs, but not the price. Are they really like over $1000 for just the crib like the website shows?

Re: Recommend your drop-side crib
I also got my drop side crib at Bellini. I think I did pay over $1000 for just the crib, but I wound up talking them down a little in price since I purchased a dresser as well. Plus, the crib converts to a toddler bed than a full-size bed so I figured it was worth the extra $$.

Re: Recommend your drop-side crib
I think so, but I got it during their 25th Anniversary Sale (which actually may still be going on) and got a 15% discount, so that helped out.
Plus, my parents bought the baby their entire furniture collection and the Bellini crib was the only one my mom liked. Ha!

Re: Recommend your drop-side crib
i have the bella crib from jcpenney, it has a drop side which i never really use. How tall are you? i'm 5 foot 3, and i don't really need it. however over the next few months, as my belly expands i'll probably start.

i bought mine from BRU and its the simplicity olympia brand.. and i bought it in black. They have other colors too. It was $250.00 and I really like it so far.. DD isnt born yet and she is my first baby, but it seemed to have good reviews. I have pics in my photo album, i think the crib is really pretty. (I dont know how to post a pic from my photo album) I hope this helps!
