Please recommend your lightweight nonbulky stroller...
I have the Graco quatrotour. It maneuvers great but is big, heavy and bulky. We are going to the bronx zoo and the city in a few days. I need some recommendations. I was looking at used peg peregos but now I was thinking I should just buy new. Thanks!

Maclaren Quest or Inglesina Swift.
Both are great. The Quest weighs around 13lbs the Swift around 14 or 15lbs. I love both of them however the Quest is very tippy as are all the Maclaren umbrella strollers on the market but it manuevers like a dream even with a really heavy kid in it.
The Swift is awesome too not as tippy but the weight limit is 40 lbs as oppose to Maclarens 55lbs on their Quest. Also I'm about 5'7" and tend to kick the back wheels on the Swift but not on the Quest.
You can't go wrong with either. If you have a Buy Buy Baby coupon you can get 20% off the Swift and it brings the price down to under $100.

Re: Please recommend your lightweight nonbulky stroller...
We just got the Graco Metrolite for our trip to Disney. We have the Graco Quatrotour and the Maclaren Quest. The Quatrotour is to big to travel with (we did it in the November and it was a pain to get through security at the airport) and the Maclaren is to small. So we got a in between one and I really like the Metrolite so far.
We also looked at the smaller Peg Perego but I didn't like the way the seat laid back and it was $60 more.

Maclaren Quest. I live in a 3rd floor walk up so I NEED a good lightweight stroller. I love it.

Re: Please recommend your lightweight nonbulky stroller...
just got the chico capri and it's great! we had the graco metrolite (well, still do) and it was fine but like you said big and bulky...wish i had known! it's so much nicer having a lighter more compact stroller. It folds up nice, has a shade, and a basket underneath (although the basket is a little small).
