I use baking soda to scour things. Method makes decent bath products that are pretty good with cleaning tough areas. We have very hard water where we live and unfortch I end up using something I don't like using every few months.

Bon-Ami

You can use it on glass as well, including glass top stoves and pyrex.

i use the Method tub & tile product (eucalyptus mint). I LOVE the smell... but it does require more elbow grease. But seriously- the smell, imo, smells like a fancy hotel.. i'm obsessed with it Chat Icon Chat Icon

I also have a lot of method products (dishliquid, handsoap, toilet cleaner, all-purpose spray cleaner) and I like all of them.... I guess I didn't think the bath cleaner would be strong enough for our soap scum... I will definitely give it a try... and get bon ami as insurance!
(OP-you can buy method products at target)

Re: please recommend your non-toxic tub cleaner

I have some Method products as well..daily shower cleaner and the tub cleaner. Pretty good, but like someone said..requires a little more oomph when cleaning.
but they smell really nice.

AP mentioned shaklee..I've used their vitamins for a long time and i've heard great things about their cleaning stuff..but its a tad pricey.

Love this product...it's really not that much more elbow grease and the smell/lack of fumes is worth it!!
