please recommend your Ped. GI!
i need the name of a good Pediatric GI in Nassau
my poor little girl has reflux, and I honestly feel like it gets worse by the day.
I live in the Bronx and was given the name of 2 around my area but one didnt have an appt until the end of December and the other was basically non-english speaking in a not-so-great area in the bronx.
I have the name of a good one in Manhattan but I hate going in there, never anywhere to park and its just too hectic for me
Anyway, it would be easier to get to an MD in Nassau than in Manhattan

Dr. Marciano!!!! We switched after being recommended by a wonderful friend on here and I couldn't be happier! We were seeing the Ped GI at Schneider's and I just was not happy there. Dr. Marciano is wonderful, explains his reasons for his answers to any concern and replies to any question you email him with very promptly.
He is affiliated with Winthrop and located in Mineola. 516-663-4600

val, Columbia is super easy to get to from you and theres a parking garage right down the street. If dr. defelice or someone in her office does have an appt you should take it. They have the best GI program in the metro nyc/li/wc area.

Im going to keep Dr Marciano in mind if I cant get one with Dr Defelice or anyone else in the office

I have to agree that Columbia is super easy to deal with - I went there when I was pregnant with both my DD's for doctor appts (my regular OB was on 60th though) - and it was very easy. There is plenty of close parking too. If you want someone good that is what I would recommend.
