My father had a massive stroke 11 years ago so I unfortunately can relate
I think it's the right thing to bring her back up here... if she is stable enough to travel. There are excellent neurologists and therapists on LI for stroke patients.
I hope they were very mild and she has no lasting effects.

just wanted to say thank you so much for all your prayers
MIL is doing ok ......she had a few mini strokes so they put her on medications and she will be able to leave the hosputal soon but she is in Florida so its really hard on everyone here because they just want her back in New York she cant fly home so DH and his brother will probably drive down to get her

I really really hope that she is OK and that DH and brother are OK. I can't imagine.
