Please share GTG ideas for 5/6 month old group!
Hi y'all! The June/July mommies are planning a GTG in the next month or so. Can you offer any suggestions on where to go/what to do in Western Suffolk/Eastern Nassau with 5 and 6 month olds that's warm and dry and not particularly a mall?

ETA: We're talking about 10ish mommies with strollers (BFers too).

tree top is free for non walkers and they have this little area where you can just sit and talk and let the little ones stare at eachother.

Are you talking about Orly's Treehouse in Westbury? I am not finding a place called tree top. Orly's is by DH's work. I'll have to call them tomorrow to see what they are about.
If tree top is something different, could you please give more info. Thanks!

No. She is talking about Once Upon a Treetop, it is in Plainview..
I've been to both that and Orly's and IMO, neither is age appropriate and I don't know how OUATT would feel about a big group of non-paying people coming in (JHMO)
At that age, we really had at home GTGs, coffee for Mommies and hte babies hung out on the floor and played

I might do a coffeeshop. During the day they'd probably love the business. There is one in St James or like ap said, someone's house with open space.

i'm not really sure but i'm down for whatever! we could also do what we did when the babies were like 3months and do that fridays again or another restaurant

That age is tough. You can always do something like Gymboree or Mommy and Me.
At that age, the GTGs were more for the mommies  We got together at each other's houses, put the babies on the floor to play and talked.

Thanks for the ideas! We're not looking so much for a place to entertain the babies, just one that will accomodate 10 strollers!

If Sayville isn't too far, Little Sunshine Playcenter has open play ( only $5.00 per child) on Tuesdays from 12:30-2
