pls recommend your favorite appliances-
hey all
we need to buy all new appliances for our house- i mean everything... can you guys please tell me about the appliances you have and what you love or hate about them?
for example, i know that my mom's dishwasher takes absolutely forever to run a cycle and the pull out racks seem flimsy, so i wont be buying that one...

GE Profile Fridge - Happy w/ it
Thermador Wall Oven and Gas Cooktop - Very Happy with them
Jenn-Air Dishwasher - Would not recommend

We just bought new kitchen appliances
We went with Samsung which is owned by GE. We got a stainless steel french door fridge, electric range with smooth top, microwave and dishwasher. I did some research and they got really good reviews

We just redid our whole kitchen with KitchenAid Architect Series. I think they function well and it gave a really high end look without being expensive. Check out the reviews on sites like AJMadison and PCRichards

We got all GE Cafe series for the kitchen, and a wolf stove. Washer and Dryer are LG.

we just redid our kitchen - they may be high end appliances but i listed some details about surfaces that were a pain in the but also
themador cook top- love
thermador - double ovens - very nice - heats up fast
themador dishwasher - very good - but a little small inside - but was free with oven and stove - otherwise would have gotten a meile
thermador french door fridge -cabinet front - there are very few of these so i picked style over effiency - small inside which i don't like - easy to open
sharp microwave drawer - very nice easy to use - good sensor buttons
our condo kitchen
wolf oven - cool blue interior - but takes forever to heat up
wolf cook top - hate the stainless steel bottom - hard to keep clean - scratched easily
sub zero - fridge with freezer drawer - single door heavy -stainless steel - lots of fingerprints with only 2 adults living there
asko dishwasher -very effiecnt but not the best cleaner

asko dishwasher -very effiecnt but not the best cleaner
we got our appliances from appliance world in huntington - they were very good about letting us order our appliances during a rebate period but not have them delivered till we needed them - 4 month wait but was able to save over $4,000
we got in on a deal from thermador that got us a free dishwasher, hood, and blower

we have a LG french door Fridge.
and GE Profile stove, over the range microwave, and dishwasher.
LOVE them all !!
especially the oven.

My favorite out of all.........is our Electrolux Double Oven. Its sooooo convenient for holidays and has great features.
