Pointers Needed--- Using OPK Strips.(A little TMI, but kinda funny)
I will start this post off with a
So, I got the cheaper OPKS-- the strips from babyhopes.com to save some money since I got like 50 of them. So, in using these-- you need to pee in a cup.
I cannot seem to pee in the cup without getting very messy-- it's gross! I never had this problem at the doc or anything in all my memories of peeing in a cup.
I need tips on making this as sanitary as possible. Any tricks of the trade to share???

My sister uses these so I forwared her your question. Here's her response:
Tell her to wash her hands…lol
j/k
I usually wait until im midstream and then stick the cup in to catch it. You just need a few drops. Sometimes it works- sometimes it gets everywhere. And tell her to do it twice a day- after twelve noon- before 2 and between 5 and 10pm. And to carry an opk and a Dixie cup in her bag so shes never stuck without one. lol

OK, seriously this is TMI, but I use those really big RED cups you get from Costco then you can't miss, and there is such a large surface area it doesn't get too messy!!! It does work!!!

I use the plastic ones, I think 6oz & I make sure the cup is underneath before I even start going. I find it easier to stop midstream to take the cup out then to put the cup in while going.
It works & NEVER a mess

This is what I do too. You don't need a "clean catch" like you do at the Dr's. I never make a mess either

WAY TMI here
I press the cup edge against me. Not one drop escapes..... just make sure not to overfill it
