Poison Ivy
What does it look and feel like when you get it?

Re: Poison Ivy
hmm...then i dont think thats what i have. bc this is the 2nd time I got it. I am trying to figure out where it came from, its not contagious. i have tiny red, very itchy bumps on my arms and face, and ears! so so weird. it has to be an allergy to something. i went to the dr last time it happened and he gave me anti -itch cream. but it came back, so it has to be something internal!

Re: Poison Ivy
It is only contagious if you transfer the oils from your skin to someone else. Once you have washed all of the oils off, you are good to go. I got it really bad 2 years ago and had to go to the dr. to get a shot and perscription to get rid of it.

Re: Poison Ivy
You could keep getting it from the same thing- like your shoes. The oil from the poison ivy plant stays on things unless they are washed - so say you walked through some poison ivy - and it got on your shoelaces- every time you tie your shoes, you are exposing yourself to the poison ivy oil again!
