Don't be sorry! I only said that because I was hoping people bought tickets and already went last weekend and could say how it was

The woman who runs this told me 2 is the youngest because they must sit on their own in the trolley. My friend just did it with her 3 kids, her older 2 (6 and 4) loved it. The 2 year old was a little hard to stay seated. Her pictures are amazing. DS just turned 2 in October so we will be waiting, but I'm so excited it's here now.

Ohh I'm excited to hear it was nice!!
I made our own Polar Express tickets on cardstock...they came out really nice! I plan on having our Elf leave them for the kids along with new PJs to wear!

Re: Polar Express- riverhead
Can anyone explain how this works? Do the kids go on the train by themselves? does the train actually go somewhere?
Sorry to sound so dumb but I have no idea how this works?
TIA

It's a family thing, you meet at the All Star in Riverhead and board the decorated trolley to the "North Pole" (Hallockville Museum I think?). From my understanding, on board, they read the Polar Express story. At the North Pole you have cookies, cocoa, and see Santa and his elves, and your child gets a gift. You go with the kids! They just don't want kids under 2 since there are no carseats or seat belts, and they have to be able to sit on the trolley bench. If your child is almost 2, like my niece, they will make an exception.

This sounds like so much fun! I'll be waiting until next year I think my 2 1/2 year old might be a little young yet.
