POLL.. How warm do you keep your house for your pets when you are NOT home?
How warm do you keep your house for your dog/cat when you are NOT home?
Just curious what everyone else sets thermostat to since it's a debate in my house..
Forgot to say what mine's at.. my husband sets it at 62 but it is usually about 63 or 64. I thought that was still too cold, but seems to be average based on votes so far

Our house is usually warmer than that though from the sun.

We keep the house at 66 and have her crate in a room that gets full sun all day. She's also put in sweater before we leave and has the heated snuggle disc in her crate.
She loves to be warm.

His crate has a blanket on the bottom and it is right next to baseboard heat. We keep the heat at 64 right now.
Even though he has a double coat and you'd think he wouldn't feel the difference, last night I noticed him curled up on a small strip of area rug over my hardwood floor last night. He was trying to fit his whole body on the carpeting instead of the cold floor. Aww.

My Dog is always warm.. She hates the heat.. I sleep with the heat at like 59 because Dh and I suffocate.. she snuggles up with us and is very happy at night.. During the day its between 60-63 she is never cold at that temp..

Our thermostat is set at 62 when we aren't home. The cats' room, though, probably never gets that cold. Even if it did, they have beds / blankets and built in fur coats.

I'm in an apartment, so I don't have control over the heat. I would guess it's about 72?

67 and they have my bed to cozy up in with all the blankets, they also have fur, they always seem to be warm to me.
