(Poll) Would you work in a religious school that wasn't your religion?

If you are not catholic would you work in a catholic school?

If you are catholic would you work in a hebrew/jewish school?

I don't think I would (or could). I am catholic and can't even imagine trying to teach in a Jewish setting. I don't know anything about it, and I would feel like I am missing out the most important part of the school culture.

Nope - I would feel like I am shortchanging the kids in the religion department bc I don't share the same holidays, religious customs as they do.

Thanks. Both of your responses really make sense. I saw that there was a hebrew school that was hiring, and first I don't even know if they hire teachers who aren't of the Jewish faith, and second I was thinking how comfortable one would be in that situation.
