I am confused about something...
ppl say it is not good to give your baby a bottle right before bed as it is bad for their teeth.....When are you supposed to feed them their last bottle? Someone enlighten me please
I confused about this too.
I was always under the impression if you actually put the baby to bed with a milk bottle in their mouth and they suckle all night long that leads to bottle rot.
To answer to question
My 2 month old goes to bed awake swaddled and always has, no rocking no soothing, no paci, no bottle
My 16 month old has her last milk bottle at 7:30pm, goes to bed around 8, awake, no soothing, no rocking, no paci.
with your 16 month old....did you ever rock her to sleep or has she always went to sleep on her own? I rock dd and I hope I am not creating a monster....I am just doing what works now, KWIM?

do what works i def agree with that one!
There were a couple patches during her life before age 1 we def did what we had to do. She had a paci til 9 months, fell asleep on our couch from 3-5 months, and the roughest patch 9-10 months her teeth and separation anxiety were brutal, she was rocked. iI never did CIO-DH and I agreed she would never scream and cry hysterical for more than 5 mins, fussing/whining totally different story :)
All in all we tried to stay consistent with the crib and it wasn't easy. I cried alot with her!

USUALLY his last bottle I give him in his room, while rocking him in his glider and he'll fall asleep while drinking it. He finishes, I stick in his pacifier and lay him down and he's out.
I have to stress USUALLY bc it doesn't always happen this easily..sometimes he's wide awake chatting away, punching me in the face and poking me in the eye and pulling my hair as I rock him...

We have a bottle before bed and then I rock her until sleepy. She is in bed sleepy but awake and puts herself to sleep.
Some nights there is a little crying before she lets herself go down- less than 5 minutes though.

Bath, bottle, book and bed.
Usually bath around 7:00
Bottle right before or after, depending on when he woke up that morning.
Read a book - if's he's super sleepy he falls asleep during the book. If not, we rock on the glider a little longer and then I put him down.
He usually conks out within 2-3 minutes.
