Poll...which type of mom are you?

Just me being nosey here, yet again...but what kind of mom would you say you are? For instance, are you laid back and do the best you can, or are you a worrier who constantly calls the dr.? I'm not what I thought I would be. I'm way more laid back then I ever thought possible.

I am not paranoid about germs etc but I have called the doctor often. Fevers scare me.

If you ask my friend (who is a mom of two) she thinks I am a worry wort. I guess because she has two.

I voted laid back but I do worry at times. It was worse when she was a newborn...

now, we just go with the flow except for her sleep schedule....I try to maintain that no matter what

Certain things Im a nervous wreck about and others Im so laid it back it isnt even funny- I just depends on the topic...

Totally laid back. Never worry here. I have never once called the pedi except to schedule their appointments. Well, I did call one other time when I was hospitalized and couldn't BF and needed to know how much formula to give her). My kids are also very easy. I don't know if I am laid back because of that or if I am laid back and they feed off that vibe.

I mean, I worry, don't get me wrong, just not nearly as much as I ever thought I would.

I'm in-between. I'm a worrier but not one to call the ped all the time....I actually rarely do. And actually, with my dd's food allergies and asthma I should worry since we've had a few scares, so I'd say I was about average given our circumstances

I voted Laid Back Mom. I think everyone worries sometimes, but I probably worry less than others.

I also think having 2 kids will do that to anyone.

eta. Also outside of minor respiratory issues, I've been given no reason to worry. If my child had severe allergic reactions, I'd be a worrier.

I voted inbetween. I thought I would be more neurotic than I am, but I find myself being laid back at times. But there are still occassions when I am very neuritic and am constantly second guessing. I guess it depends on the situation.

I was really laid back until Andy's formula issues, and then I started second guessing everything for a while there. But now I'm pretty much back to the way I was before.

when it comes ot my kids health, I am a train wreck, I don't eat or sleep when they are sick, I worry like mad.

With other issues, I am totally laid back, I let my kids have their independence, don't get caught up int he small stuff.

But then they get sick, I trulu need meds

I'm very laid back. I never call the ped except to schedule appts. I think he is a very easy baby, though, so that's probably why!

very laid back. I guess with my sis have 4 kids and me now 3, what's to worry about?
I think kids do pick up on mommy's vibes. my boys are also very adaptable to many circumstances.

Definitely an in-between mom. It took me 3 weeks to call the ped when DD was first born and screaming her head off night and day. Not sure that's a good thing since she was allergic to milk protein

I do try to educate myself by reading and talking to other moms, but I go with my gut and try to stay relaxed especially when DD isn't!!!

Depends on whats wrong I guess. The other day she was really out of sorts and not eating and it scared me, but most of the time I go with it.
