Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
I'll be following pediatrician's schedule. She recommends giving it on schedule between 12 - 15 months. She sees absolutely no benefit in splitting it.

Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
DDd got it at her 1 year appt. She was fine after. No big side effects at all. #2 will be getting it on schedule as well. I did my research and spoke to my doc and was and are still very comfortable with my decision.

Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
I am undecided about waiting. Intellectually, I feel there is no link and I have done quite a bit of reserach. Emotionally, I always think what if...?

Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
Ryan got it at about 14 months. He had to get it at the allergist's office because there is egg in the MMR shot, and he is allergic to eggs. He had no reaction and I do not regret getting it.

Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
Both my kids got the MMR in one dose and at 15 or 18 months, I forget which. No problems here.

Re: POLL:Yes or No...Did/Will your child receive
DS gets his shots on the recommended schedule.
I'm more worried that since it seems more parents are choosing not to immunize their children that these diseases will start to come back and I want DS to be protected.

This is sort of how I feel...yet I speak to so many people on both sides of the fence and have read a lot of articles regarding the pros and "cons" of the MMR, I feel so confused! I don't even know what I believe to be right any longer.
