pool alarms

Yes it IS mandatory now. You also must have the gates that close by themselves. You can get the alarm at Island Rec. I would call first my mom paid for hers in April and it is coming in today, but they have been saying that. I thikn its like 169 if you belong to Island Rec.. Doesnt cost anything you just get the flyers..

Thanks for the responses. I don't have an inground pool. It's actually one of those pools from BJ's that you put away every year . It's 4 ft. and we take out the ladder when we're not in it. I find it hard to believe we are mandated to have an alarm esepcially since the alarm costs about half of what the darn pool costs.
I guess we'll put one in anyway for peace of mind.
