poop up the back...diaper ?

dd seems to poop up her back al over herself atleast once a day. i have her in pampers... should i switch diaper brand, or am i destined to do laundry everyday? TIA

this used to happen a lot to DS...but now I think it has stopped b/c his poops aren't so gassy any more...I think the force from the air used to shoot the poop up his back!! Its now better (hes not so gassy) and it hasn't happened in months (he is 8mos now)

It's normal actually. Try and tighten the pamper a bit. I always remember being afraid of tightening it too much at first.

Also, is she wearing the right size? Whenever mine started to leak, it was usually time to go a size up.

oh the explosive poops. I hate those.
Is it always in the morning?

I used to try to get them before it happened. It it happened in a clean diaper or if i changed quickly after. It wasn't
such a big mess.

That's usually a sign for me to go up in size, although DD has been doing that recently and I know she's in the right size now. I just make sure they're tight. I also find that if she poops in a wet diaper that happens, so I try to be a little faster with changing her if I think she's wet to avoid the mess.

i will try to tighten them, i think i do have them loose. i am always afraid of hurting her buddah belly

DS does the same thing - but usually only once a day and after DH has changed him...he likes to put the diapers on loose because he thinks DS would be uncomfortable...
I'd tighten the Pamper....
ETA: I thought switching to Huggies or Luvs would help, but the Pampers actually hold the poop in the best for us..

When that happened to my dd i just moved up a size. I like the diapers that are half sizes like 1/2, when the child is too big for size 1 but not a full size 2 yet.
