Porcelain Veneers
Anyone ever had this done? My top center tooth is starting to grind down. I know this is out of pocket. Approximately how much does this cost?

Re: Porcelain Veneers
I'm not quite sure of cost but I can highly highly hiiiiiiiiighly recommend a cosmetic dentist. He is in Massapequa and he is the best - he can give you all of the options that apply to you. I have a loved one who went to him for whitening and figured he would do Zoom but ended up benefiting better from Kor. The doc was so helpful with that. Another loved one ended up being struck in the mouth and their tooth became discolored. The doc was AMAZING - allowing them to keep their tooth and use a state-of-the-art machine to get the color back to what it was.

mine was the same so I had my other one shaped to the shape of the other tooth and now I use a guard at night to prevent the grinding...but I am going to use that dentist above because I have a discolored tooth im looking to get rid of!

Re: Porcelain Veneers
Yup - I had 6 of my front teeth done and paid a little over $1K a tooth.
Definitely see a dentist who specializes in cosmetic dentistry. I went thinking I was going to get veneers on 2 teeth. Because of the space I was trying to correct, in order to get the most natural looking result, I had to do the teeth on either side.
People never believe it when I tell them my teeth are veneers.

Re: Porcelain Veneers
FYI, there is no such thing as a dentist that "specializes" in cosmetic dentistry. Any dentist with a DDS degree can advertise themselves as a "cosmetic dentist."
