Pork Roast in Crock pot?
Any one have a good recipe for this?
Dh and I prefer to cook it in the crockpot because we have so much other stuff that needs to be in the oven on Christmas Day.
Dh wanted to do it in a tomato sauce, but my dad will not eat it like that. Any other ideas??

Put pork roast in crockpot, some water, potatoes, and carrots. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, onion powder and if you want some rosemary. Add boullion cubes to make gravy, or use pre made powdered gravy and add it 1/2 way through to make gravy.
Cook for 5 hours on high.

This was my plan, but DH said that the water will evaporate and roast will burn. Do you just add water as it evaporates?

My water never evaporates...I put it probably 1/4 to 1/2 up the roast...so that it makes enough gravy. The potatoes will also soak up the water/gravy.
I've done it this way a dozen times and never had water evaporate. Roast is always falling apart once it is done it is so tender.
