Possible Cheating Husband? Sorry
Goofing off, I went onto the personals and to my shock I found a personal ad (which has to be paid for in order to post a picture) that a friend of mine posted. He's a MARRIED man! They are trying to have another baby. What is he thinking? Should I print the ad an anonomously send it to his wife? Should I just pretend I didn't see it? Opinions?

Wow, that's horrible! What an idiot besides! I would definitely confront him and give him a chance to come clean on his own.
I was dating a guy for awhile when a friend found an ad he had placed on Match.com. She replied to the ad under a few different names before sending him a reply telling him off. She knew it was definitely him because he used a copy of a picture I took of him. Another idiot!

I agree that she should know! I would definitely want to know if I was trying for a child with a man who was cheating on me. I would send her the ad and say I don't know what this means, if its a joke or if someone stole his picture, but I found it and I thought you should know.

The only thing about that- what if he opens it ? You will never know if she received it, and she may not have anyone to turn to. She may feel even more embarssed that someone is sending this to her anonymously. she will always be suspicious of who knows about this. If it was me, I would just bite the bullet and tell her you found it and you don't know what it means but you thought she should know. It could be someone using his picture, it could be a joke, it could be an old post- but you just thought she should know. No judgments.

You know I created a fake name and sent him an email...........since I know him, I know what would attract him. No response from him. Maybe it was a joke? I doubt it somehow. It was a new post and he had to pay to have his picture on it..............so I am sure it's not a joke or anything.
Damn men why do they have to be so friggen stupid?

If its legit then I would tell his wife!!!
BUT DH's picture was taken by someone and used in a chat room. This was a few years before we met. Anyway this guy was using his picture and talking to girls. DH emailed the site and the account was deleted.
It also happened to a girlfriend of mine.
VERY scarey stuff!

Is it possible that it's there from before they were together? I know I probably have personals from before my husband and I ever met, and I just never bothered to take them down. I don't even use the e-mail anymore that they were connected to.

I totally agree. I would be so suspicious about who knows about this if this was just mailed to me anonymously. I think I posted this already but I found out a friend's bf was in SERIOUS legal trouble (I mean arrest, trial, possible jail time) and he NEVER TOLD HER and was about to propose. I found out and told her directly. Even her mom thanked me. I think just sending her the article (it was in the paper) would have made her more paranoid and feel like even more of a fool (no one can tell me directly?) Just make sure she knows that whatever she chooses, you will not judge her and support her in whatever she wants to do.

Hi ladies.........I haven't gotten a response from my "fake" post. in passing i asked my husband if he'd seen "xxxxx" and he said, no because they went to Hershey for the week. So until they come back............I have nothing new to report. I will keep you updated! Promise.

I am not saying I would not want to know. I stated that I thought it was inapproriate to send a print out to the wife in the mail anonymously.

If it were me, I would want to know, but maybe not anonymously..maybe you could just say "ya know..I saw the wierdest thing..I saw your husband in so and so ad"?
