yes, took a while but I did get my flat stomach back. I gained 56 lbs with my pregnancy and lost all but 5. There is a pic of my almost "after" body in my pregnancy album. There was more improvement since then but I don't have a picture. I was definitely not as skinny as the before shot but I was happy. Chat Icon

how on earth did you do it?!?!?! Share you secret please!!

I've exercised all of maybe 3, 4 times since Riley was born. This coming from a former 5-6 day a week gym rat. I don't have the interest anymore, yet I get depressed every morning when I get dressed...I had to buy a whole new set of clothes for my 'new' body.

Diet probably would help...I wouldn't say I eat terribly, but I could do better. I just have to find a way to get the energy to work out at night...but it's hard when I get home, and my job is to get Riley to bed for the night, and make dinner. By the time we sit down to eat it's 7pm. And I hate to work out on a full stomach.

Ugh....I just hate how I feel now.Chat Icon

No secret! The first 41 lbs came off with me doing nothing. I did breastfeed and pump for a few months so that probably helped. The last 15 pounds were hard. I am not a good dieter because I have IBS and a sensitive stomach, so I eat what works for me, which is usually not healthy (a lot of white breads and carbs). I got back into running and ran 4-5 days a week either before Landon woke up, during his naps, or after he went to bed. I worked f/t at the time too. What really really helped was having my own treadmill at home, because if he was napping I couldn't leave the house obviously. I would take the monitor down with me and run as fast as I could before he woke up. You just have to make time, ad once you get into a routine it becomes easier. I also did Yoga dvds and the 30 days shred on the days I didn't have enough time to run.

I gained 40 lbs - it took me 3 years, but my body looks almost the way it did before baby - don't forget, I think I am 10 yrs older than you... I worked really hard to get here - I think you will definitely bounce back!!!!! My tummy could be tighter, but I also could eat fewer carbs and do more crunches, so..... Chat Icon

Re: Post-baby body...

I hear ya! I gained 55 lbs with my pregnancy and lost 45 now 10 month PP. I was actually down 50 but gained 5 back recently.

My stomach is the same way...i blame it on the C section...but who knows

I had a horrible pregnancy...was on bed rest a lot and when I wasnt I was on limited activty to the sedentary lifestly in combination with being so nauseous caused me to gain so much weight.
