Post IVF consult w Trivax and saw Andy Kaplan today!!
Love Andy. Great personality and knowledgable. So relaxing too. Def will keep going to him. Looking forward to my next appt.
Went to Trivax. I really do like him so I'm sticking with him for now. I made sure he knows and he wrote it down- I'm dealing w him only. He's making all of the decisions even if he's not in the office. They will send him sonos and blood results. He is very aware of my feelings about the other dr.
He's changing my protocol a bit too. I'm going to try one more fresh cycle before I touch the frozen. Starting at end of September cycle. Until then! ;)

The only reason I'm giving it another shot there is bc of Trivax and the fact he is overseeing my chart etc. I didn't hold back my feelings about her. Ha!
Andy really likes Trivax and Trivax heard a lot of good things about Andy so I think I'm in good hands. We shall see..

Post IVF consult w Trivax and saw Andy Kaplan today!!
After my failed fresh IVF cycle, Dr Trivax took control of my next cycle (FET)which resulted in me being 34 weeks pregnant right now. When I went for monitoring I saw him and when it came time for my FET he did it. Even though Dr Sung was doing all retrievals and transfers he would not let her do another transfer on me. Amazing man!

He did my fresh cycle transfer which resulted in. BFN so I can't blame her. Ha! I'm hoping when it comes time to transfer time he will be the one to do it. I know with FET its a little more flexible. He seems to be in mIneola more so I'm happy for that he's was more in Brooklyn for a while.
Congrats on your pregnancy!!!!!

TyRese, I remember when. I came back on this board, about 11 months ago, you were still on the TTC boards and now I see your 34 weeks!!! That's so exciting. :)

I know how you feel about sticking with them b/c of Trivax...I was a former patient at the same practice with (conceived #1) and wasn't going to stick with them for #2 but I met with Trivax again for my consult and really like him so I decided to start this cycle with them.. besides the fact that they will let me bring my son with me if i can't find anyone to watch him. (the other re i consulted with said they preferred i didn't bring him).
I really wish you the best of luck and hope to read some positive news from you soon!

Glad you have a plan. I would probably do another round with the same RE as long as he was willing to change some things up. Unfortunately IVF isn't 100% and sometimes we fall in the BFN side.....nobodys fault. Hoping IVF # 2 works for you. I think its a good idea that you are doing another fresh before using the frozen in your case. Fingers crossed.

Taking time off to regroup is good. My last IUI (#6 for insurance reasons before IVF) I wasn't on any meds. It was a nice break with less monitoring and not feeling like I was on drugs. GL
