I'm confused. If someone doesn't like a post topic, why would they feel the need to open the post, berate the poster, continue to post over and over on the thread instead of just passing it by? Is it a maturity thing? A lack of self control? Chrissy Teigen syndrome - just being an ass hole and hiding behind a screen? What compels someone to berate someone over and over and over and over instead of just ignoring them?

You can’t just ignore them? Not interact? I pass by many posts because I am just not interested or it might annoy me but there is really no need to contribute to something and then have the nerve to complain about it.

All of the above and some never grew up and find the need to insult and attack others to make themselves feel better.
It’s like any other thing in life. You don’t go to an event IRL if it annoys you so why the need to want to be involved online?
