my friend's DD's name is Eden - i love it!
she was also looking at Ayla when she was PG, that's a beautiful name too. Isn't that the main character in Clan of the Cave Bear? I like that alot too. We are looking at "A" names for this PG.
I love Amelie as well. And Anastacia.
YES you are 100 % correct!!!! Ayla was her name....... My DD is named Ayla. Her name means strong and secure. My 3rd DD's name is Amelia. We seem to like similar names. My oldest DD is Aviana. All "A's" It's obvious that i like unique names.

Another boys name I like is: Carter

I know I had other names, but can't remember them or find them?

My friend was contemplating with this name and ended up using it as her daughter's middle name. Her name is Remy Reina R______. Reina, Raina, Reya is latin for Queen.

Re: Post your favorite non-traditional baby names
For Boys, I like traditional names.
For Girls, I could go for a non-traditional names. I like Taylor but DH mentioned it reminds him of Taylor Hicks from American Idol. Thanks Taylor Hicks!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Fritz for a boy, but so far everybody is very much against it. We're not pg yet, but we may compromise on Fredrick so we can call him Fritz and everybody will be happy.

Chase for a girl. Hence the reason we decided to name DD Taylor-Chase (one name) instead of Taylor Chase.

One of our first ideas for a boy's name was Fitzgerald. We love it, but decided on something else.

Re: Post your favorite non-traditional baby names
I named my daughter Ainsley - so did another '07 mom.
It's not pronounced Ine-sley - The 'A' is pronounced. Like the vowel sound in "Hey" or "Hay"
I'm fine with someone not liking my daughter's name, but I was surprised by your response when someone said how much she loved it. . . and the leap to anus honestly is a bit off, in my opinion.

I loved the name Marina for a girl.
My Dh loves Rocco for a boy but we have an Italian ending in an "O" last name so it rhymes!
My friend named her son Riley. Her daughter is Karissa. I don't hear that name that often.

Re: Post your favorite non-traditional baby names
We prefer non-traditional names (obviously)
We're thinking Caine for a boy and I like Whitney or Whitley for a girl. DH is routing for Trinity for a girl, but I'm not digging it too much.
I also like Easton, Preston, Anderson, Baron, Ralf for boys and Shea, Tabitha, Carly, Riley, Rayanne, Piper, Willow for girls

Re: Post your favorite non-traditional baby names
Wanted to name a boy Cole, DH was not having any part of that, LOL.
We decided on Mattingly and Joseph, one traditional and one uncommon.
