Here's the thing. I don't think there's a lot of regret. Many, if not most of those who voted for him wanted his agenda to prevail.
They want to see rights stripped away from the LBGT community and women. This is what they voted for, and they are not going to apologize.
 So upsetting. Is this just one of the more disturbing of his many options or is this a top contender?
It's one of the 20 or so on his list. No public info on who are top contenders. Just the fact that he's on the list of 20 is bad enough. People shouldn't have to be scared for the next 4 years hoping that Trump will pick "someone not quite as bad" as him from the rest of the list....
Who knows, maybe he'll scrap the entire list and pick someone more reasonable.... but it's the "who knows" part that makes everyone nervous...

Potential SCOTUS on Trump's list...
His supporters would be overjoyed with this pick. They want roe v wade overturned, they want marriage equality squashed. They don't believe in gay right's.
A woman I'm fb friends with, who prides herself on being a christian, declared that her anti-abortion stance was her main reason for voting for trump. Even though she didn't approve of his numerous marriages and adulterous ways. She felt that her religious beliefs being shoved on everyone in the country was more important to her than voting against racism and inequality. She makes me sick.
