Potty Training - I know it is early, but
Gavin is very aware of when he is going. My mom said maybe I should try potty training and see how he responds. If he doesn't want any part of it, that is fine.
I am going to get him a potty training toilet. Any recommendations on what to get?

My DD goes on the potty most times and she is 13 months old. We bought her the Bjorn potty with the high back and so far has worked well.

We are in the beginning stages with Lily now and we bought her a sticker chart...anytime she sits on the potty and goes, she gets to put her stickers on the chart. It seems to motivate her to want to try.

Re: Potty Training - I know it is early, but
I am just using a seat on the toilette and lots of wahoooooos when he goes. I am just starting the process this week, since my son WANTS to go on the potty, I am still figuring out what my method will be...GOOD LUCK to you though!!

Hmm, I wonder if we should try this with DD. The only thing we have really done so far is offer for her to sit on the potty here and there, but she's actually only peed once. I wonder if a sticker chart would entice her!
To answer the OP - we have the kind of seat that sits on the bowl.

Lily LOVES her sticker chart! We have it up high on the fridge, so she can see it, but she can't reach it...so it's a HUGE treat any time she gets to play with it.
