Re: powdered formula and drop in question

I add and shake. In the past when I prepared a bunch of bottles at once I used the formula pitcher from BRU.

As far as fluoride, peds prescribe vitamins with it in them for infants. I've read conflicting information about babies having fluoride, so I opt not to give DD the vitamins and didn't use Nursery Water. I just use Poland Spring for the bottles.

Re: powdered formula and drop in question

I have always used the nursery water b/c its sterile.

We find mixing it in the bottle makes clumps so I use a formula pitcher ( like $8 at BRU) and make a whole pitcher at a time.

This is what we did too. I would check with your ped about the nursery water - ours specifically told us NOT to use it. We just used the water from our cooler.
