PPD... anyone

I think I'm sufferring from PPD right now.
I want my husband home, I miss him.

Maybe I just need to get out more, we were getting out alot to the beach, pool and gym but now it's just for a 3mile walk in the morning because I feel like my legs are gross. I'm hoping it's just lack of sleep. I haven't slept an entire night since I was 8 months pregnant and I still got another few weeks before Dh is back for 3am feedings.

I'm just feeling down, out and fat.

I definitely had the baby blues bad. Having a baby is very, very hard. Do you have any friends with babies that are similar ages? Talking to another mom is really helpful to let you know that what you are feeling is very, very common!

I agree. You should talk to your doctor about it as well.

-Laurie- Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I am so sorry you are feeling this way. I've also had the baby blues and know that it can be a very confusing time.
I would talk to your DH so he knows how you are feeling!!
BTW - the picts you posted the other day about the belt made me jealous and inspired me to workout more! I think you look amazing!

I haven't heard from DH in a while which I think is part of the problem and when I do get the chance it's a 15 minute call from a satallite phone which has a echo and delay so their is no point in sharing just yet he can't really do anything as has alot on his own plate right now. Our wedding anniversary is next week and on the 1st I'm attending a friend's wedding so I know that is part of why it's hitting me now. Dh does know I'm being a wierdo about my weight but I know that's more in my head then anything. I just don't want him to be dissapointed when he gets home. I've done well with my feelings till now so this is just hitting me like a ton of bricks.

I'm glad I inspired you:) Best of Luck!

I am sure he is going to be very proud of you when he gets home. You are raising a BEAUTIFUL child and YOU look like you havent even had a baby.
I am sorry that you are feeling sad, it probably does have to do with DH being away and not being able to speak to him. You definitely should call your doctor to see what he suggests.
Also are there any classes you could join for you and the baby? This way you can meet some other mommies?

You look awesome. Weren't you the one that was back in a bikini 11 weeks pp? Try not to put so much pressure on yourself (easier said than done I know). Like someone said the other day, it took nine months to put the weight on and it may take sometime.
