Prayers Are Needed - Updated 5/15
Last night we got a call from DH's uncle that DH's Godmother is in the hospital and it does not look good. She is in a medical induced coma, has a collapsed lung and will be having surgery today to see what is going on. The only problem her Dr said is that she is over 70 years old and has other medical problems so he had DH's uncle sign papers because they are not even sure if she will make it. Please pray for her. DH is devastated over this.
Update 4/16 - First off let me thank everyone for their prayers and support. DH spoke to his uncle last night and the his Godmother's surgery went well. She came through the surgery. The Dr took a biopsy of her lung. He thinks that she might have the beginning stages of cancer but they are not sure yet until they run tests. If it is cancer, they have to see what can be done. She is no longer in the coma, is alert but still has the breathing tube. DH called out sick from work in order to go see her today. he feels much better and he will feel even better once he sees her.
Updated 5/15 - DH found out last night that his Godmother has Stage 4 lung cancer. She is home now in a wheelchair and not really doing good. He spoke to her a few seconds last night and he said that she sounded tired and not herself. He is so devastated about this. Please keep us in your prayers.
