Thank you everyone! It def was a rough past few days, but I think I am doing better now. We got him cremated, and I opted to get his ashes back... I still can't really believe he's gone. I heard a cat meow this morning outside, and so I called for himself, and then stopped myself...  I know it will get better...but it's just soo hard. THank you again to all.

I'm so sorry. 
I know exactly how you feel. We put our dog to sleep last week too and she also was my last link to my dad. I'm heartbroken and beside myself with grief. They are not only our pets, they are our family
