My Mother just called and my Grandmother is in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. They believe she is having a stroke. I'm freaking out right now AND my DD who is 3 years old is seeing this (she's with them) and I hope she's okay. It's very scary.
Update #1: Thank you everyone!!! She had 3 TIA's which are basically mini strokes. She lost her speach this morning, but it actually came back which I'm so thankful for. They don't see too much damage, but they said normally when there are multiple minis that there is a big stroke after. They admitted her and are keeping a close eye on her.
Update #2: She was released Sat 2/20. She was doing well, but didn't tell anyone she had tingling in her arm and lips all day Sunday. She went back to the hospital for a couple of hours and than was released again. I can't believe that they made her sit in the Emergency room for 2 hours though. If someone is having a stroke again, shouldn't they be taken right away??? She's home now and doing okay. Thank you everyone!!! xoxox
