Prayers Needed!!!!! UPDATE!!
I don't know if anyone in the Ronkonkoma area has been hearing the helicopters or not and seeing police cars but there is a little 8 year old boy missing and they are searching for him right now.
The boy is missing from Central Islip Blvd which is at the end of my block, apparently his mother went to go wake him up and he was missing.
Please keep this family in your prayers!
UPDATE
So I was told that the little boy was found walking/wandering on Rosevale Ave a couple of miles away from the house.There appeared to be nothing wrong with him and he's home safe with his mother.
That's pretty much all I could find out, there was talk about his father who doesnt live with them took him or he just left the house on his own.
There seems like there is more to the story but no one really wants to give or go into any details.
What matters is that he is home safe with his mother.

I was hearing the helicopter and looked out my living room window because it sounded like it was going to land in my back yard and it was right over the trees...i felt like I could have touched it, it was so close!!!
But there is a patch of woods a house away so i'm sure that's where they were looking.
I'm sick to my stomach, I called my husband and just started to cry hysterically on the phone because I couldnt imagine what his mother is going though
