Pre-K moms'- TMI question.....
Does your pre-schooler know how to "wipe" (#2)??
My DS doesn't and to be honest I really have not tried to show him because I don't feel he is really ready yet and if I start- Mr.Independence will probably only want to do it himself 
At pre-k orientation, the teacher was telling us how they keep wipes in the bathroom and tells them to wipe until they don't see anything on the wipe  last year ( same school) his day was only 2.5 hours, now its 4 hours, so I could potentially see him needing to use the bathroom...
Guess I need to start really showing him and hoping for the best ...My DH has let him help a few times, I haven't  ...
ETA- My DS will be 4 in October

My 4yo does, but I still check just to make sure.
My 3yo doesn't but he's being really difficult about potty training in general.

My DS is 3 and doesn't do an effective job wiping. I always let him wipe first, and he does a couple wipes, but then I always follow up with a wipe myself and I can tell he didn't get himeslf 100% clean.
Right now he's only starting a 2.5 hr nursery program, so I'm not super worried. If he poops, I know he'll at least give it a couple swipes and get himself semi-clean. The worst that can happen is I clean him up at home.

My almost 4 year old wipes herself and I usually check. Sometimes, I'm in the middle of something and when I end up checking her there are skid marks on her undies

DS doesn't have any issues (he's 4), but DD isn't always thorough (she's 3). She's good for the most part (took a LOT of gentle reminding), but every once and a while, we get skid marks in the undies...

Nate isn't always great at getting it all. Usually before I put him in the shower at night, I'll use a wipe on him.
