Question for BTDT Moms....mucus plug related (TMI)
So, I think that part of my mucas plug just came out...(sorry TMI) but approx how long after you all lost your mucus plug did you go into labor...I am supposed to go out tonight--with my Mom, so I should be ok, right??? I am feeling fine otherwise...HELP!

i lost it in pieces from 34 weeks on and didnt go into labor till 41 weeks, but some people do go within a couple days of losing it

I lost my mucus plug right when my water broke, so basically I went into labor right away (but apparently that's not the norm, according to a nurse at the hospital). Whatever the case, you're almost there!

I am very excited for you!! I think I lost mine over the course of a couple days early last week and had my baby on Wednesday night. My doctor said after losing your mucous plug - typically it ican be 3-5 days from when labor starts. With the first baby I lost it about a week or so before I went into labor as well.

I lost it a day after my 38 week appt.
At my 40 week appt (which was a couple days shy of 40 weeks) I was having contractions that I couldn't feel and my dr. sent me in to get help from Pitocin.
So I probably would've went into full labor about 2 weeks after losing it. I drove myself crazy those last couple of weeks after losing it, thinking I could go any day.
I hope it comes sooner than later for you! Sit back and relax, it's just around the corner now.

I lost it about 12 hours before my water broke and I went into labor. Sounds like you are close, congrats!

My SIL lost it 3 weeks before beign induced
