pre natals

Just last night I went to take my pre natals and just putting it in my mouth made me gag. So skipped it and figured one night is ok to skip. I tried to take it again and I gagged ashen. Just the thought of taking it makes me gag. What do I do?

If you can't take them without getting sick, don't take them. I didn't take them for like 3-4 months because they made me puke. They are more for you than the baby anyway. My doc just said to try to find other sources of folic acid. I drank carnation instant breakfast because I couldn't eat solid food.
Everyone gets so hung up on skipping prenatals once in a while, it's really no big deal if you need to skip some days. It's not ideal to not take them, but it's like a magic pill that makes baby healthy, it's a vitamin.

I've been so sick the last 5 weeks I haven't taken them at all. I feel bad sometimes, but I just can't right now.

You're fine. You can skip a bunch and it's no big deal. Try something else. I was taking target gummies for a while until they made me nauseated and I stopped. I now take target pills- much better for me!

I ended up buying a gummy prenatal when my regular prenatal was making me gag. I was able to start taking my regular one again when the nausea passed.
