Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
Ladies - how do you feel about being pregnant?
I absolutely LOVE being pregnant! I feel healthy, pretty, and I love feeling that little life inside of me growing. I'm having a very easy pregnancy and I think this contributes to how much I love it.
I know that not everyone feels like this and I realize how incredibly lucky I am.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
Ehhh - I def. do not love it. I am sooooooo huge basically from the moment I pee on a stick that it makes things very hard.
The first tri sucked being sick all the time.
I feel good now so I can't complain - but I know what's in store for me so that kind of puts a damper on things!
I never wrote you back BTW - I suck - did you end up going to Behrs?

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I am very similar to you. I ABSOLUTELY love being pregnant. With the exception of the carpal tunnel, I have had a really great pregnancy & truly never felt better. Of course the extra weight is challenging at times but when I feel my little guy moving inside, I realize how worth it is
I tell my DH all the time, I am not sure how i will handle NOT being pregnant! Of course I will embrace having my body back but at the same time I know how much I will miss carrying this little life inside of me

You are so lucky to feel that way- I don't always hate it but I certainly don't love it. I think the worst part for me is it takes so long!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I consider myself very lucky - I haven't been terribly uncomfortable, never been sick. Just have had awful insomnia but honestly, I'll take it! It's been a great experience and can only hope #2 will be just as easy!

Yeah, you do suck, but I love ya anyway. I went and wasn't blown away by anything, really. We are going to go ahead with the furniture we originally loved from BRU.

I feel exactly the same way as you do, there are a few hiccups, the acne and swelling of the feet, but overall, I've had a wonderful pregnancy so far. Enjoying the little one growing inside of me, and watching my belly grow

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
Most of the time I love it! I don't love the weight gain and I wasn't thrilled with the 1st tri sickness but aside from that it's been great.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I'm still in my first trimester so I answered indifferent. I LOVE the idea of being pregnant having my baby grow inside me but since I'm almost 10 weeks I still feel like crap so that's the part I hate. Its definately worth the nausea and exhaustion, hopefully it will get easier with each pregnancy.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I hate it. I LOVE feeling move around inside, and I can't wait to meet her, but everything leading up to it has been unpleasant.
I hated the nausea, I hated the sciatica, I hated the exhaustion (which has returned with the 3rd trimester with a vengeance), I HATE the insomnia which has been with me since January. I also hate the clothes because NOTHING fits me right. I feel like I haven't had one single day since Christmas where I've felt "good."
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but boy, that felt good to get it out!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
i absolutely love it, i loved it since I found out. I feel greet, my skin got better, my feet aren't swollen (yet*) , i love feeling her move, ofcourse i miss my flat belly but hey nothing beats the little growing inside of me. the only thing i can complain about throughout the 31 weeks is the occassional heartburn and now its starting to be uncomfortbale to bend down and shave. but overall i must say i've been blessed with how great i feel

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I love being pregnant, but hate some of the craziness that comes along with it. I hate constantly worrying that everything is ok, the morning sickness, and the hearburn.
I love being pregnant because I feel so connected to my I just can't wait to have him here so I can start worrying about him.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I guess I am in the minority --- while saying I hate it might be a little strong, I def don't love it. I don't have great/easy pregnancies so I think that makes a huge difference. My doc told me the other day that my body just doesn't like being pregnant
But.......I went and did it again because I know the end result is soooo worth every ache and pain in the 9 months.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I loved it the first time..even with GD I felt awesome the majority of the time.
This time I am working nights and was so sick until week 16. I feel pretty good but the gestational diabetes showed up sooner and is a big PIA!
I still love being pregnant!
I think I could do this one more time!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I did not enjoy the first trimester AT ALL....I didn't get to enjoy any second of it between the worrying and the M/S it wasn't fun. Now I'm definitely enjoying it though!
So I didn't take the poll.
& to those who hate it, it's ok too, it's not that you hate your little you just have had a rough pregnancy, our bodies go through a lot and it's a lot to handle.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
Never loved the first trimester because I feel like I'm walking on eggshells hoping everything is ok. Once the second trimester I love it. Everything about it I love!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
Neither.
While I love the fact that I AM pregnant...I don't love BEING pregnant.
The first trimester was filled with worry and anxiety because of the complications I had. The second trimester was filled with insomnia and exhaustion. At the beginning of my third, I am feeling better, but now starting to get uncomfortable. My ribs and back have been hurting me often. Oh, and I have had sciatica pain since the day I peed on the stick.
I also hate not being able to exercise. I was on high restrictions in the beginning and now I am too nervous to do anything too strenuous. I can't wait to have my body back and try to make my body look better.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
First Trimester- Hated it, Was so sick, Swore this was it and I was never having another child
Second and Third Trimesters- Love it, I feel great. I think because my first trimester was soooooo horrible, that feeling good my last two felt insanely good. I literally have almost no complaints.
Overall though my first trimester was so traumatic for me that I would say that I still fall on the "hate it" side of pregnancy. BUT with my last two good trimesters I am able to say I "hate it" but I'll willingly do it again some day

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I'm on the fence about this one.... I like being able to feel but I hate not being able to see my whooha~, shaving my legs is a task. I do like some of the food cravings! I hate the transformation of my body, it's so awkward looking... otherwise it's not so bad. All adjustments of things that are unfamiliar to me

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I love the end result. But i do NOT at all love pregnancy. And i don't hate it either..
But with backaches, heartburn and feeling HUGE, its just hard for me to "love" it right now. Second trimester was great...but the third and first, ugh...I can't wait to have this little guy and be done!!!!!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I don't feel like myself at all, almost everything is harder, just bending down to put on shoes is difficult, I'm achy, I have heartburn, I feel/look like a whale, I sweat for no reason, my ankles are swollen...but then I feel that little baby kicking inside or I'll hold up a little onesie grandma bought for the baby and it just melts my heart and makes it all worth it! I voted love it.

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
completly love it!!! I dont know if its mind over matter. Going thru IF treatment and pregnancy losses i promised mysefl i would enjoy every moment of pregnancy if and when i got pregnant.
I am 23 weeks - with the exception of being scared in the first tri of mc again, and having another scare a couple weeks back, i can honestly say i love everything about this pregnancy. I dont mind the weight gain - i can get rid of that, i dont mind the swollen feet - its temporary, i dont mind the sleepless nights, exhaustion, heartburn and etc. Im just happy to be able to post here!!!!

Re: Pregnancy - Love it or Hate it?
I feel guilty, but I don't love it.
I love when he wiggles inside of me, I love that he kicks back when i push on my tummy, I love all the cutie little boy things, but I just don't feel "right". I had my head in the bathroom sink (because it was too hard on my back to bend over the toilet) for almost 10 minutes this morning losing what seems like all the water I drank since 3pm yesterday...times like that, I HATE being pregnant.
