Pregnancy Blood Test ***UPDATE***
I had a blood test to confirm at my dr's office on Monday (the day af was technically due) My beta came back at 304. The dr. felt this was low so she had me come back to repeat it today.
Anyone remember what your # was around 14 or 15 dpo?
UPDATE- I just heard back with the results from todays bloodwork and the numbers more than doubled

You had a beta of 304 at 14/15 DPO? That's a really good, normal number. I don't know why your OB isn't happy with that

huh never heard of that being consiidered a low number for that time.... a second is always a good thing...but wondering why dr is worrying you like this.....gl

I agree -- that seems a bit odd that they aren't happy with that number.

ITA... it doesnt really make sense... if anything he should have just said... come in again so we can make sure they double...
and from what i understand theres really no good or bad #'s as long as they increase at the right pace is what matters

I had a beta done at ~14dpo and it was 142. I was also told it was low and brought in for a second one, but that's because they were basing off of my LMP which would have put me at 8w not 4w, and I knew I ovulated late. (They did say that it was a perfectly normal number for 4w). My second beta came back right on track, as did my dating sono, so they moved my EDD. I think your number sounds right on track and a great number for that range.

I thought it sounded good too! I have no idea when I officially o'd but based on my LMP I would have been somewhere around 14-16dpo on Monday.
Of course now I'm stressing out

that's not low at all for 14dpo. Mine was 150 at 140 dpo when I had twins.

See this is exactly it...I'm thinking it may have been a poor choice of words. She said it was kind of low and she did want to see if it was increasing. She just worried me with saying that it was low. I went back this am and the nurse said she was sending it stat.
That the numbers look good!

Mine was like 200 around that time. I went back in 2-3 days later and it was like 2000.
I think that number is fine for how early you are. Go back in a few days to see that is it at least doubling. You cant really tell from just one beta if it's viable.

Are you sure it was the beta test that the Dr said was low...or did they test your progestrone and that was low?

that number is perfectly fine if you are completely sure you are 14 or 15dpo.
at 13dpo mine was 197 and at 15dpo it was 479 and i was initially pregnant with twins.

not a low number. thats a good number. and more important that it doubles anyway.
I can't remember exactly but my first beta was 62 then it was like 150 something.... then the 3rd was later on like days later and it was 1086 or higher... i really can't remember.
I think we started testing around 15 dpo maybe. it could have been 14 dpo too.
I ovulated later in the cycle (CD21) so when the dr asks when my last LMP was I say IDK...but I O'd on and give the date. This way they don't assume I should be further along than I am.

Happy to hear your numbers doubled! I never had a beta done that early. I think my first was around 6 weeks so I'm not sure what "normal" range is.
